When we painted last time, we bought outdoor light fixtures. We pulled them off a few days ago and man, they were a mess. We hadn't budgeted for new ones (since we've been buying a lot more paint in addition to that 5 gallon bucket in the garage) so replacement wasn't an option. Spray paint to the rescue!
With the amazing variety of spray paint available, we found the perfect one! We brushed the fixtures with a stiff paint brush, removed the glass (if the glass goes in somehow, it must come out somehow) and painted them. They turned out beautifully!! Instructions are here.
That inspired us to paint our concrete fountain (purchased in 2001). A textured spray paint to the rescue! I'll post pictures of that when it's up and running again but the painted pieces look so much better already!
What's next? Well those outdoor chairs need some TLC... oh and that wooden bench.... I think I need to start a "honey do" list!
